Had the *BEST* lesson! (photos!)

Yay! Had the best lesson I've ever had yesterday! The flatwork part was horrendous, I rode like a drunk monkey, but once we started jumping EVERYTHING worked

I'm so happy with Riley, especially since we spent the year stopping at 90cms and 1m because I wasn't riding properly.

Congrats! Looking great

There is one principle that should never be abandoned, namely, that the rider must first learn to control himself before he can control his horse. This is the basic, most important principle to be preserved in equitation - Alois Podhajsky

Thanks guys! Tinyliny, he does, he's the most careful horse I know. He's getting more honest as time goes on, but unfortunately I taught him to stop. He will still rather pull up than smash through a jump if I get him into a bad enough spot but I'd never blame him for that.

Hopefully we keep improving before competition starts in January :)

He's a little superstar! My instructor jumped him for the first time yesterday and it was so cool seeing someone else jump him. Apart from the fact my instructor made it look super easy therefore so did Riley haha
