    It Happens.

I broke my leg on Saturday.

I was jumping Mav, and the oxer was close to the rail, so it was a tight right turn. Anyway, he bucked, right in the middle of the turn with his shoulders dropped and I fell right into the metal rail.

Doctors said I have a hairline tibial plateau fracture in my left leg. My translation, no riding for a month.

I know I'm lucky, I had my helmet on and it wasn't my neck that broke. I think it is safe to say that most riders who have been riding for their whole lives have experienced this in one way or another.

I'll be back on as soon as I can, I am counting down. Just one of those freak-accidents that couldn't have been prevented.

Oh that sounds so frustrating. Luckily it wasn't worse. I hope you recover smoothly and quickly

Thank you, I hope to be back on as SOON as I can.

    Luckily there's no surgery needed.

That sucks, but it does happen, I hope you make a quick recovery.

I broke my arm a few years back riding, and I totally know what you mean. Its not like you can really blame anyone... Accidents are bound to happen.

Yikes. So sorry. But at least it turned out as minor as it did. People have died from stuff like that. =0

I have had my share of bad accidents. Most previously, busted my head open a year ago. Haha. I can sure as heck tell ya about a bad headache.

I hope you get better soon, I've been really lucky not to break anything(yet) I'm sure the day will come but I wont complain if it doesn't. Hope you can get back on and ride ASAP.

Aww, I hope you feel better, that stinks. :( I haven't broken anything myself...yet. But with this sport, you never know sometimes!

Well its good that you don't need surgery. I wish you luck.
Too bad no riding for a mont. But hey maybe the break for your horse will even do him some good =D

My key question to you is, what color is your cast?
