I recovered very quickly, and luckily my fracture was so minor that the doctors believe it was just a bad bone bruise.
3 weeks off, oh the horror!
    But....
I am officially back in the saddle. (:

Are you alright? That must have been terrifying for you.
I'll be hoping for a speedy recovery.

I'm glad for you that you're back in the saddle. No riding must have been a bummer.

I would also like to know the color your cast was.

I know how you feel. I fractured my heel over the summer, and it really sucked. For the first week or two I held off riding...but after that I just made sure I wore a few extra pairs of socks on my right foot to give it some cushion and I rode anyway. Probably not the best idea, but oh well.

That sucks but at least it was a clean break. Hope you heel fast!

I hate breaking bones I've broken a few, never riding though, always at dance class...

Wow that must have sucked! Very lucky to have the all clear to ride in only 3 weeks, I had to have 8months off when I did my leg in. :(

    Green Broke
Most of my breaks were caused by the little buggers on the ground, not while riding. My foot twice, my hand once, and a cracked rib from a body slam against a concrete wall. I'll take my chances in the saddle, lol. Hope you heal quickly!
