Help!! need ideas on jumps - Page 2 - The Horse Forum

I would personally fill them with sand, a lot of horses don't respect pvc !

I got about 15 10-12 ft poles for free. They are tobacco poles so if you know anyone who has a tobacco shed im sure they have a bunch !

Also you can use lawn chairs & wheelbarrows as wings if you don't have money to buy anything

I also like those lightweight blocks that you can't stack

I wouldn't fill them with sand ... they are really thick and plenty heavy. He got good thick PVC not thin cheap stuff.

Burlingham Stacker - Statelinetack.com a little expensive: you can stack them

Jump blocks: Horseman's Pride Jump Block - Dover Saddlery.

Modular cavaletti: JUMPS USA Modular Cavalletti - Dover Saddlery. (you can probably make them from wood.)

Makes a mini oxer type cavaletti: JUMPS USA Interlocking Modular Cavalletti - Dover Saddlery.

Any of them can be crafted with wood and a jigsaw.

well im just trying to get my dad to make some standards right now out of wood....he can build em an ill paint em :)

good luck with your jumps, I suggest not using this though
