I'm so proud of Riley :) I might be bragging just a little...

Ok, so forgive me here, but I'm so proud of how Riley went today at our first D grade competition in two years I just had to share!

We placed, 1st, 2nd and 3rd and ended up D grade champions! He was so good, only took a couple of rails and had one refusal (my fault! I didn't want him to knock it so I tried to mess around with his stride too much :/)

And I attached some photos for your viewing pleasure (or just for my own pleasure!) Warning: Slight picture overload!

And one of us with our pretty new rug :)

Thanks so much guys!

It's a big step from where I was two years ago - I had a few bad falls and was scared to jump at all, luckily we worked through it and now (hopefully) the sky's the limit! Once I can stop trying to stride him exactly one bad habit I haven't quite gotten out of..

Thanks everyone It's good to see all our hard work turn into results, now to just work on that pesky dressage...

If anyone has any critique I'm happy to hear it, it all helps us to improve! MIEventer, if you have anything to say I'd love to hear it - I really enjoy reading your critiques
