In jumpers, judging is simply on number of faults. A clear round with no faults, in the fastest time, wins. The rest of the class is pinned in descending order based on time and number of faults.
Faults are assesed for rails down, refusals and crossing your track. In certain types of competition, time over a set minimum is converted to faults.
