What do the judges look for in a show jumping competition?

Show jumping? The judges arent "looking" for anything other then a clear round. Hunters? I'd head over to the hunters section. I believe someone just asked that question(or something like that.)

In jumpers, judging is simply on number of faults. A clear round with no faults, in the fastest time, wins. The rest of the class is pinned in descending order based on time and number of faults.

Faults are assesed for rails down, refusals and crossing your track. In certain types of competition, time over a set minimum is converted to faults.
