The easiest would be to go online and take a look at photos of jumper courses. Go out at Spruce Meadows and take a look at whats out there but I think it would be nice and easy to just look up photos online.
Where are you planning to use and put those jumps??

M2G - I guess I'd see if I could set them up at the barn that I'm to board at...

Wait until you find a barn you like before you make plans to build. The place you might just end up boarding at will have more than you can imagine

Hehe yeah, it's not in my immediate future to build these, but I think it would be a great project! I've designed a few while at work (bored out of my skull and not allowed on the 'net) and I'm very excited about some.

My trainer's husband has been the one building all the jumps for our second indoor arena to set up huge jumper courses. I know he'd be more than happy to get more ideas

Crazy jumps are always the best. If you do show your horse won't be as scared of bright colours.

In this video there is this really cool watermelon jump that you gusy could try to make:

Tiger jump:
You could also make like a tiger jump. The poles could be striped and one standard could be a tail and the other side could be the tiger head.

You could make jumps with bright colours too.
This website has all sorts of cool jumps ideas.

You could try
-a firetruck(standard) with a ladder(middle) going to a firefighter(standard)

- a strawberry(standard) with a fruit salad(poles with wooden fruits stuck on) going to a bowl(standard) or a table (standard)

I'm the kind of woman, that when my feet hit the floor in the morning, the devil says "oh crap she's up!"

How about a blue jump w/ planks that have cutouts of rubber ducks on them and then put a liverpool underneath with ducks floating in it? Just an idea:)
