Jumping Exsizes

Okay so I've finished my training with my 6yr old ISH, and I've pratically covered every aspect of jumping training wise I can think of, I'm stuck with idea's of new jumping exsizes I can do. Any idea's?

Set up two poles 5 strides apart and adjust his stride to get more or less strides depending.

Set up a course using just poles practice turns, speed, stride length etc.

Focus more on dressage chances are if you have done all that he can jump fine. Your horse wont forget jumping if you don't do it. Try improve all aspects of his supplesness, flexion etc and watch your jumping improve in turn.

I do alot of schooling with him aswell as my jumping, So dressage isn't anything new, I've taught him to go correctly on the bit, supple him. Etc.. flying changes. But im on a bout my jumping, I'd like jump exsizes as I have a show in two weeks.

Ever done corner jumps? That'll get both of you working on precision.

Also, set up a grid that's 3 jumps, 4 stride to 4 stride. Go through until you get the 4 strides on both perfectly. Then work on your adjustability of stride. So, do 5 strides, then 4 strides. 3 strides then 4 strides. Then do 4 strides, to 5 strides, 4 strides to 3 strides. Eventually you should be able to mix it up and get 2 +/- strides on both jumps. I always find it more of a challenge to shorten my stride between the first two then lengthen and take out a stride between the second two. So, like 5 strides, then 3 strides.
