My mum used to count down strides with my old camera to get the perfect timing, doesn't always work but she was getting pretty good. It sure does help when the photographer is a rider.

I just got a new camera and i absolutely love it! It also takes shoots right after another. Try holing the button down until you want to stop - my camera will take up to, like twenty different shots!
Anyways, here are some of my shoots but i didn't take them - a mom at my barn has an awesome camera and she is really good!

having a really good camera with a fast shutter helps and in darker places like in an arena the action mode will slow down. :) I can't post pics cuz I'm using my phone. :)

The standards and poles were brought to the barn that morning by another girl. They were not sharpened, i think they are the rounded fence posts that are flat at the end.. they aren't sharp either.
