Just want to point out here that having correct form as a rider over jumps will immensely help the horse in getting "up and over" the jump in a correct, safe manner, as well as help to instill confidence in him that he can safely make it over the jump. It is a lot easier and inviting for a horse to jump if they can feel their rider balanced and confident in the tack, rather than having to deal with figuring out how to get over the jump AND make sure their rider doesn't fall off in the process.
