Default Kai jumping vids (critique welcome)

Soooo I actually have Kai videos today, woo! He warmed up really well then mum came out with her little p/s camera and took vids for me. Not my best day but Kai was good.

cross rails to the south

Cross rails to the north

Cross rails and 1.05m to the north

Same again but a little smoother second time through

And cross rails and 1.05m to the south

Friendly feedback welcome :)

Gosh you are such a good rider.
I like the last vid of the huge blue and white crossrail...

I wish i was as good as you! I'm just wondering as to why Kai throws his head down after all the jumps?

Thanks

I don't why he shakes his head like that, he doesn't do it always maybe 50% of the time. Maybe just a quirk he has?

You are great over the higher jumps but over the 'smaller' cross rails you should release a little more (this could be a little of a personal pref though). You are by no means horrible but it seems like when you go over the higher jumps your release is what it should be and I love it. It seems like over the smaller jumps you 'hold him back' it doesn't look like that's what you ARE doing but a little more hip closer and a little more release would make a prettier picture for me. VERY nice though! gah! jealous!

He is very politely asking for his face back.

Oh! I almost forgot also while you are approaching the jump and landing it looks like your shoulders are... slumping and rounding a little. See if you can keep your shoulders back and maybe give staying closed a little longer after the jump.

I disagree. I see a super steady rider who is staying out of her ponies way while he works his way through the gymnastics.

Wow, you are good! You are a very steady rider who is in control and still manages to let her pony do his job.

As for the head tossing, the pony I used to lease does that when he gets excited. Not being rude, just a "yahoo!" type of thing.
