Belgium's Philippe Le Jeune came to our barn this weekend for a 3 day (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) jumper clinic. He worked everyone both on the flat and over fences. It was interesting to see how much people struggled with the flat work. So much more so than the over fences stuff. Although, you can see the weakness in a person's riding the moment the fences start to get really big. There was no more room to simply ride your horse up to the fence and HOPE they go over it. It separates the riders from the people simply sitting atop their horses. Hahaha! My trainer rode in this clinic as well... and she did quite amazingly. I suppose that's why I pay her, eh?!
It was pretty cold and gloomy... but anyway, I hope ya'll enjoy the pics!
