Quarter Horses aren't built to do jumping. Even if its small heights, that's not right for their breed requirements, it (being the jumping) eventually builds up and works against their stature. Maybe an appendix quarter horse could even be better than a regular stocky Quarter Horse.
it doesnt matter what the breed of the horse is. any horse can learn. it just s may take longer for some horses. i have a quarter horse and im teaching him to jump... qh are all around horses this day and time, not just ranch horses like most people think of them.
