This was NOT a good show say. Haha. From last summer.

^He wasn't going to take it, then decided to, then didn't want to again, then took a HUGE leap, thus me falling ahead and my legs going WAY back.

then this was after a circle. he buck/reared and somehow took off with one front and the OPPOSITE hind?! don't ask b/c i sure don't know....oh and he had a mass bucking fit up to the fence so i was sans stirrups.

Ah yes, my TB HATES cross rails. Unless we set them up as a gymnastics for a more "narrower" look, we set them up on the wings to stand about 3 or so feet. But Bayberry, my TB gets crossed in the rear when i push him to a fence that i know he doesnt want to take, esp if its small. Thats basically what your horse is doing. His back legs get crossed when he wants to turn out, etc, and he's pushed on.

It was Velvet's first ever show and she was really full of it! She was very tense in the beginning but settled down really well afterwards... She took a flying leap over this jump, about a stride before she should've and taught me totally off balance and unawares!!!

She jumped BEAUTIFULLy in the actual competition though! Especially for such a baby! She didn't look or spook at a single thing and jumped everything like a star without one stop!!!

But yeah, here it is...Velvet's carousel horse impersonation...
LMAAOOOOOOOO I think that is the best one I've seen so far (still going through the pages) The lady behind you is like "what the ffffffffffff"
I hope the landing wasn't too rough...

I'll give you the play-by-play. Generally speaking this:

(I like the one above a lot. Brutus decided he could jump back feet first)

(best two-point in the world)
Results in this:

Ok I have gone through them all and I can't reply to every bloomin one - but I am dying over here from laughing!!!!
Good job you guys! Thanks for the laugh!

I don't have any pics of me here - my horror story was teaching my gelding Shadow to jump. He bolted after a jump and ran straight for the arena rail, I thought he was gonna jump that but he ran right into it and bowed it out leaving me up on his neck up by his head. Poor dude I felt so bad... I decided I wouldn't pursue jumping with him after that. :(

Good luck everyone :)
