| Okay pintopony, I think that you're horse may be in the wrong sport lol. He's got an awesome sliding stop on him. No pics, but I got a tb, that was jumping gp level, and I of course hadn't jumped anything over 3'3" when I got her. She is an extremely leggy mare, and we were doing gymnastics, and she jumped all 3 trot poles, as well as the first cross rail, and vertical after it (was supposed to be a bounce), and then took the 1 stride as a bounce, and the 2 stride as a one stride. Did not my my trainer happy lol. And she loved to jump long distances. Jumping was her thing, but only once did she try to refuse a fence, and it was a 3'3" oxer, and I stupidly didn't let her run out, so she jumped over the standards. She was an amazing jumper, but she was frustrated about my small jumps, so she tended to make them into 5 foot fences. I'm sure if I had ever asked her to, I would have been able to get her to jump air lol. |

| hahaha dressagebelle, I have totally jumped air. My friend couldn't figure out why her horse would randomly jump nothing. I got on him and realized he was jumping the shadows out of boredom. it was awesome. |

Horses: 0 | HA HA HA! I bet you sure do learn to ride with a solid seat with a horse that likes to jump random shaddows!
I have a very deep seat, I've had coaches over the years tell me my seat is too deep - but that's because I grew up riding green broke horses who loved to take any opportunity to attempt to ditch me....so you learn to ride with anchored heels, solid lower leg and a deep seat.
I'm too defensive of a rider - but Nelson is teaching me to relax. All my riding life I've ridden unpredictable, green horses - and it is a wonderful breath of fresh air to be on a been there done that, bomb proof, know it all horse - lol - yeah...I said know it all. lol. |

| Yea, I'm a defensive rider too, but then again, I basically only ride horses that will use all of their energy to spook at their reflection.
Petie was an awesome horse in the show ring, he always won, but at home there was never enough stimulation to keep him occupied. We tried polo, western, jumping, reining, calf roping. everything he was great at but nothing kept him occupied. My friend did have a veeeerrrrry good knack for knowing when he would jump so she could give :) That was the scariest part, she kept worrying she's jab him. |

| I was a defensive rider until March. My friend/trainer's daughter hiked my sturrips up to jockey position and didn't let my touch the saddle. It was tough, but now I have a nice light seat, which is a heck of alot better than the seat I had in March! |

| PintoPony - I want some of whatever you stick on your saddle. It looked like you were going to be sliding off his butt! |

Horses: 0 | I don't have pictures, but I have a video (:
'
Let's see..Leo refused two jumps, three times each. That makes 6 refusals. It was a 4 jump course. Not to mention the incredibly awkward final jump. Did I mention I dislike this horse? Severely? I flat out refused to ride him for about 5 months.
I do wish I had a video from last Friday. It was my first time riding Brook, and we had some issues. I went from riding 16hh horses to Brook, who is a good 17.2-3. And wide. With a huge steps. I couldn't figure out striding or anything, because I was seeing Jack's strides, or Leo's.
