    Love Story likes her height

Yesterday we all jumped, as we have a show in two weeks. So anyway, we had the jumps lowered to 40cm, I don't know how high that is in feet, because our other team member had two bad falls when we jumped last on Tuesday.

So anyway, we warm up, and pop the horses over the warm up jump a few times at trot and canter. Then I volunteer to go first, since I always do. So I get Love into her normal bouncy canter, nice and even, not to fast or slow, and we head for the first jump. She goes beserk, trying to jump it a stride or two away, and racing for the next next jump. I managed to calm her down abit, but by then she'd already knocked down 2 poles, which is kinda sad lol. The same result the second time, though she did go slow and listened alittle more.

So after all of this. We put the jumps up to either 60 or 70cm, Im not too sure. Then we go again. We head for the first jump, and Love was... perfect? It was amazing! She cleared them easily, listened to me, and kept her rythem.

I think she likes her height, since we always jump 60cm - 80cm. We've never jumped lower, so I think she got confused?

All in all, a good day, and Im proud of Love Story for at least trying

Love Story, hate to tell you this but that quote was not written by Stephenie Meyer. It is from a Robert Frost poem called Fire and Ice. The poem was inspired by Dante's Inferno.

And to not be totally rude, congrats on your higher successes! Sounds like she realized she actually needed to listen to you and pay attention for those fences, good girl!

I understand it is in the book, but she didn't write it. The way you have it written it appears she plagiarized it. Stephenie Meyer uses a lot of classical work to round out her books. Sorry, I am a writer myself- and it just bothered me.

    And congrats on the jumps!
