    Mini rant

Yes of course I hold my horse to the fence ask him to sit back on his hocks and then pop sit back up wait for the next fence going out competing keep seeing a girl yank yank yank horse head so close to hers cantering on the spot mouth wide open then 3 strides away big spurs kick kick kick jump why do people do this does my head in!!

Don't get me wrong I will hold my horse if no canter when I release I will apply my leg for a more forward canter but nothing like this noticed people seem to be doing this a lot!!!

Not everyone rides the same. Maybe that type of riding works for her and her horse.

100% agreee everyone rides different and different things work well with different horses

Don't agree with yanking your horse in the mouth nearly tearin its teeth out

Could you please use punctuation? Your post was a bit hard to read. :)

I do what you do, but when I was new to jumping, I tended to do what you described the girl of doing. Not as rash of course.

Give her the benefit of the doubt, :) maybe her horse is hot and hard in the mouth, or maybe she is new to jumping.
