I really want to become an amazing rider, but I need to resources like books in order to get what I'm suppose to be doing. I'm a really fast learner and everything, but I've been switching disciplines so much (moving towns) that I can't keep myself working as well as when I started. So, I would really love just for people to pile on any titles of books, dvds, cds, that could help me, a beginner, with hunters. I do take lessons, but I want to do more research and studying of it. I am very much a visual person in that if I read it, I can do it. If I can't read it, then I'm wandering around clueless
I have some questions too. What is the main registry in horses for jumping? Hunters is the most common form of jumping, and it is jumping with an english saddle, right? Also, what books should I look for about positions? I can't seem to get my riding well enough that my instructor will let me on the jumps, even though I have jumped.
