Woofs are on sale here (if this is the style you want), they have red:

Fair enough. =] I just don't feel that saying "They do it, so you can do it too" is a great way to ideal protection of a horse. Every horse slips, has an off day, etc, so why not protect them thoroughly? =]

As for where to get woof boots- the best place to look would be at a local tack shop. That way, no shipping costs are involved. Some people sell them on here, too, cheaper than you could get them new, so I'd keep an eye on that. Otherwise,
Woof All-Purpose Boots - Dover Saddlery.
They're on sale for $29.90; only a little more expensive than what I paid at my local tack store.

I can't seem to find an acctual picture of the red to make sure I like them before I order them because I don't want to end up sending them back. I would go to a tack store but the one near me is very expensive and I don't think that they would have them in a red. Thanks so much guys

I found a picture of the red color (yay!) This discussion has been amazingly helpful. I was wondering if the roma hind ankle boots would be okay to use on the xcountry course? If you are doing 2 foot to like 2 6 jumps would it still be bad to use open front front boots? From this discussion I would guess no haha, but my sister just bought open fronts and still wanted to use them out xc. I will have to show her this forum but I was just curious. Thanks guys

This may sound silly, and I've never done it this way but what about...

Buying white open fronts and just painting them Red?

I use white open fronts on my horses and after I clean them, I touch them up with white paint because no matter how hard you clean, the more you use them the more worn and dull the color becomes. I don't see why you couldn't do the same with Red.

Just a thought.
