My horse will pop jumps if I am not careful to pick a good spot. I have never fallen off when he has popped a jump (or any other horse has) or over jumping to be honest, but popping jumps is almost worst. They are first, of all, guaranteed to overjump - and they launch themselves over from basically a standstill sometimes. Just awkward all around.

hahah i once expected my horse to overjump and got way too far ahead (was far too busy with my upper body) and launched myself over her head-- learnt that lesson- better to be left behind than get ahead

some ditches have a pole on both sides & some have it only on the take off side. that is the difference, its called riveted or something like that haha. a true trak will have a true ditch so to speak. im not sure if thats a rule or anything, but thats what ive been taught since forever haha

Sultan (my avi) over jumped almost everything xD
He's only 7 and is still learning. I never fell off because I learned to expect it from him. I did get left behind a few times though.
