Playing With The Reins?

Okay so I do Hunters and I was doing my lesson and my trainer said I keep playing with my reins? I dont mean to do It but I Dont know how to stop playing with them since I dont even know when I'm doing it. So what are some ways that would help me not play with them?

Hold a crop with both hands while holding the reins. Your hands will have to stay relative to each other in order to keep holding the crop.

You just have to see your distance...you don't have to like it.
