I hate seeing those ponies with a heart to jump, that just happened to end up as a pony. You know a ton of them would be Olympics material if only they had been born in the right body!
Way back in my youth, yes when the world was black and white, color hadn't been invented my hero's were Marion Coakes and Stroller, Stroller was only 14.1hh and won a silver at the 1968 Olympics in the individual showjumping
And of course more recently, after the invention of color there was Teddy O'Connor, also 14.1hh and sort listed for the Olympic event team, before tragedy struck.
You know I never watched Teddy O'Connor before? I'd heard the name but never actually watched him in action. He was an incredible pony. Those fences were enormous and he made them look so easy.
Stella, your horse jumps so correct! Quite the power house!
Thank you! Bought her to compete in dressage. Turned out she's even better at jumping.
But since she's mostly is trained in dressage, she tends to jump a bit higher than she needs to sometimes. Lol.
She often goes crazy about them small fences.
