I have some pictures of my previous pony. Unfortunately he is sold to America and I have no idea where he is now (I live in Holland). But I've got some lovely pictures of him!
His name is Benji van D'Hoeve.
I hate seeing those ponies with a heart to jump, that just happened to end up as a pony. You know a ton of them would be Olympics material if only they had been born in the right body!
Not really true, the entire reason they can jump so high is because they ARE ponies. Much like the ant being the strongest creature in the world relative to his size, ponies in general are MUCH better jumpers then horses due to their conformation. If you made them into bigger horses, they'd lose much of that natural ability. Connemara's are well known to routinely clear 7'0" and higher fences while often only being 13 or 14hh!
My little 14.3hh Arab loves to jump, she's cleared 4'6" free jumping (standards wouldn't go any higher) and easily does 3'0" under saddle and I weigh 200 pounds! It's a shame she grew that extra inch, she would have made a phenomenal pony jumper!
