Thanks for the compliments everyone. These pictures were mostly from last summer except the 2nd one which is from last feb. Unfortunatly liberty has since been diagnosed with having arthritis in the coffin bone and strange changes in the navicular bone, so he no longer allowed to jump often or over anything thats higher then 2'
From what I can see you might be jumping ahead of him just a tad.. It looks like your crotch is over/in front of the pommel instead of back over the seat of the saddle but I can't tell for sure from those pictures.
the one from feb definitely looks the best... aside from the fact you're not wearing a helmet. But you look more secure in your leg, which is slipping back a little in all the other pics.
Thanks for the advice everyone. The feb pic was took when i was in shape lol, This past year has been the worst of my life, went through a fight with depression, overeating, gaining weight, and between liberty getting hurt (He pulled a butt muscle) and not being able to be ridden for a month, and hurting my own back and being out for 3 months, I have just gotten completely out of shape
oh dont worry, you will recover fast. mabey since you are not feeling well that will give liberty a chance to heal his butt muscle...lol. just spend time with him insted of riding him all the time.
He hurt it back in August I think, a couple weeks after I took most of those pictures. I think I've jumped him once since and that was like a week ago. I've only ridden him a handful of times since he hurt his butt over the summer because right after he was healed up I hurt my back needed surgery and was out of commission for 3 months
He is wearing special shoes, I cont for the life of me remember what they're called. His navicular bone isnt shaped right or something and its starting to fuse to the coffin bone and he has arthritis in the coffin bone
Id never sell lib, hes my best friend, you dont sell your best friend because he cant do what he used to. I bought a new mare a couple months ago shes a 4y/o american warmblood named amber, but im keeping lib, one of my best friends is going to be leasing him from me and is going to start teaching him some low level dressage just for fun, we might even try him western.
Liberty would look cute in western tack. ) You can get one of those bright color western pads and use a chestnut color saddle and bridle. He would look so cool. )
