Congratulations and a job well done! Be very proud of yourself for taking that step forward and empowering yourself to get the courage to take this giant leap ahead!

I have fear issues as well, where stadium jumping is involved due to an accident I had a few years ago with a previous Coach of mine, and it's taken alot of time, work and empowerment to get myself to the heights I am now doing.

I went from breaking a sweat and crying when my now current coach asked me to do an X rail, to getting comfortable with that and then moving up slowly and surely...now I am at 2'11"-3'0" with confidence and I am so proud of myself for what accomplishments I've achieved from that X Rail, to the 3'0" fences.

Be proud of yourself for every little accomplishment you make, because before you know it, when you look back to see what you've done, you'll discover that those little accomplishments, accumulated into a huge one!

I love your Appaloosa, what a doll!

Aw, you look fantastic. Good on you for overcoming your fears and getting to the place you are now. Keep up the good work.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

Wow, what a nice post to read. Appy's are sooooo good as dressage. Have fun!

You just have to see your distance...you don't have to like it.

I love the bolded part, that's how I'm trying to live now, celebrating success even little successes, because they all add up to be one bog success.

Congrats on working your way up to the 3' fences, I'm not sure I'm going that far, 18" is my current goal, a lot depends on how Mr G copes with it all, he has got to enjoy converting from western to English, he seems to be happy with it so far
