Browse the forums and you will find lots of good info on jumping!

Have you mastered english riding? You should have a pretty good grasp for it before attempting jumping, so I'd reccomend getting lessons with an instructor that also does jumping lessons, so she can help you move that way :)

I just started my jumping lessons about 4 months ago and I love it! It can be overwhelming at first, but it is so rewarding when you nail a jump.

    Good luck & have fun!!

    Pictures are a must!

If you can, when you ride at home practice the 2 -point position. It will give you a boost with balance and leg strength for when you come to jumping.
Also - read read read! I found it helped me out when I came to lessons. I was teaching myself beforehand and I found I zoomed ahead a bit more in my classes.

    Good luck and remember: pictures!
