Ok, I do agree that you would ride it the same, if you wouldn't then why does the eventing team have Bezzie and Laura teaching them? From a BN rider's standpoint, they look more technical, and think about this, even if it is the only thing the horse does that day, their horses might not be as fit as an event horse. Just food for thought.

Just a little bit off topic but I wanted to have an opinion =P. .
Perferably I do showjumping and have been doing it for one year now and I love it I used to do eventing up to pre-training (85cms) but I gave up in the end becuase I just couldn't stand it in the end I did it for close to 5 years , but I gave up as the xc scared me to pieces becuase they was just way to many ways for me to hurt myself and I was always frightned about my horse hurting himself but once I was doing it , it was amazing =] and dressage I couldnt stand because it always just came down to one persons opnion and if the judge didn't like your horses colour (i evnted an appy) you didn't do well or even if they didnt like the build or the breed you just didnt do well. . In showjumping it is easy to see what happens and it is alot safer from my point of view and I have improved a hell of alot from it to (from 85cms sj to 1m20 sj) but this all just my opinion =]

Right, we have gotten way off topic here.

You have to go with your heart my dear, stick with what you love. BUT if you want to venture into Show Jumping, there is nothing wrong with that either.

Where there is a will, there is a way :)

Acctually if you watched the olympics, there was a thing about those two helping the team. And judges don't judge your horse on color in events...

Somethimes you do get that biast judge I have done entered two horses in the same catergory one was bay white blaze very pretty and he did the most horrible test you could imagine counter canter, chucking his head taking off wouldnt stop the most abrupt transitions and he got 3rd my other mare marble appy a scar on her back leg white blaze , she did the nicest test I've evr done on her perfect transitions , on the bit, long and low foward free walk she got 2nd to last several people watching her test commenting on it and how nice she looked and yet she didnt do well? Sometime just because they shouldnt mark according to there own perferences doesntmean they don't,
