NEVER EVER too late! Go for it and enjoy.
To be honest, I think that the discipline required for competing only comes with age anyway! Just a thought... (And that's not an insult to any younger people here - I know there's always exceptions!)

It's never to late. Tell that "champion" to give me a call and I'll set a few clocks straight. It's fantastic you have found a new passion and have so much interest in it. Go for it! Nothing can stop you, not even your age!

If you're a breathing human being with a pulse, pfft! It's not to late

Absolutely disagree!! You can start jumping whenever you want - when you get older you just need to be careful. YOu may not be jumping 4 feet but that's okay!!

^ I have a friend in her late 40's who is jumping 4'2'' ---4'6''she only started 2 years ago. Nothings impossible( I wasen't trying to sound rude) but I was juat saying that age shouldnt matter if your in good physcial and mental condition.
