I just wanted to know what boots people use and where you bought them? I am looking at getting some new ones and wanted some input. I love what i have but am always willing to try something new.
I have these, definitely not cheap, but the best boots I've ever had. And they aren't neoprene lined so they are one of the few kinds my horse can wear.
Thanks everyone ... i use SMB when just hacking but not to jump in ... i have some other boots that i use for jumping that are kind of like open front but i wanted to see what others use ...
I have a TB mare, who always seems to be hitting/clipping her legs when she jumps and sometimes during flat work. I dont know if its her front legs hitting each other, or back ones hitting her front. Just wondering, what sort of boots would be best for her (I am not competing her yet, and only jumping fairly small)(80cm) ??:?
I have Roma open front boots and the hind boots. They resemble the Eskadrons except for the price tag. And they are easy to clean as well. I really like them. I found them on eBay.
I usually put bell boots on a green jumper as well as shin boots. Simpley for the fact that when they are coming to or landing a jump they can be "messy". Just for protection. After they know what they are doing I usually dont put on any boots unless there is an obvious problem. Sometimes wraps are just the easiest thing to use
