Get the horse first then call out a professional saddle fitter. Names mean nothing if they don't fit you and your horse.

I have a Wintec all purpose saddle with easy change gullet system and the chair panel system. Best saddle ever! I love it and it easy to keep clean since its not leather I just wipe it down with a wet cloth and it was only 600 dollars!

Talking to your horse is sometimes all the therapy you need.

I'm getting the horse tomorrow I was just thinking of to take on trial so I can get a saddle that fits her as soon as possible, do all saddles come in medium wide trees?

With your budget I'd look for an Antares, CWD, Devoucoux, Butet, or Delgrange. Those are the nicer higher end french made saddles. Some of them brand new will be more then $3k but a dealer can find you a really really nice used one for that price. (they're like cars, lose some value the second you buy them) Sure I like Pessoas and Ovations and such and highly recommend them to most people but the higher end saddles are overall nicer saddles and if you have the budget for it I'd go with that.

So far I tried 4 saddles on my mare and the prestige paris fit her well and I was in a good position on it and it passed the bucking test too haha (she got scared by a cow) and the Antares spooner jump saddle fits her nicely too and it is really grippy and since I ride in a half seat it's well suited for me so I'm not sure which one I like better
