I have done a few different things with my horses including eventing and dressage and I loved all of it but jumping is the one thing I keep going back to. Having said that it is not my life. I enjoy the occasional show and am very competitive, but that's it.

I'm with M2G on this one. I stray from jumping (hunters primarily) every once in a while, like with my recent (in the past 5-6 years) fascination with Dressage, but I can't kick the jumping habit. I just started Maia over fences today, actually!!
