Another newbie :)

Hello to everyone! I am a married mom to three girls and have a six-year-old half Arab mare, a yearling Haflinger/Standarbred cross and 15-year-old shetland pony.

I barrel raced in my younger years and lost my barrel mare last year to colic. (I had her for 22 years.) So I'm starting fresh with a young arab for trail riding and the haflinger cross will be my next driving horse. I'm in the process of constructing a round pen to help with these youngsters.

This looks like a great place and I'm looking forward to sharing my experiences with others.

Kirsti, there's definitely no shortage of animals here. We tell our girls' friends 'no need to go to the zoo, just come to our place!'

what other animals do you have at home? my daughter was raised in a dog pack, cats, birds, horses, cows and the endless wounded, lost wildlife.
