Another Newbie from Texas

Hello everyone! Chronologically I'm an old lady, but my brain doesn't recognize that. I have three Arabians and one of them led me to seek information in Horse Forums since she is a major problem. I'll post pictures of them one day soon. The old man is Czarstan, a chestnut gelding, 17 years young, and a lot of fun to ride. He's a nervous horse and my goal is to calm him down. I plan on doing a lot of trail riding on him. Next in line is problem #1, an 11 year old grey mare named Rzanna who thinks she is the boss. She is, over the two geldings, but needs to learn that I'm the ultimate boss. She was worked with for her first 3 years and then her owner died and nothing has been done with her for the last 7 years, a major part of the problem. Last in line is problem #2, a 6 year old grey gelding named Frosty Podesta. Absolutely nothing was ever done with him until I came along and started with him last year. Now he leads, lunges, and backs with the Clinton Anderson method. Love Clinton!

I'm really looking forward to talking with lots of the people on this forum since there is so much good experience out there!

One last do you get carrots?

Thanks PaintHorseMares! Good to know I'm not the only crazy "old" person with horses! Can ya tell me how to play the carrot game? I haven't found any instructions for it.

Unless it's enabled by default, I think you need to go to User CP and there is an option to enable the game or something like that. After that they just appear at times with a basket that you need to drag them to. You can't play from a mobile device, though.

Welcome from another Texan! Have you checked out our Texas Horse Friends thread?
And would like to say I would love to get out of the carrot game ...

Hey! Glad to see another Texan. I love how you numbered your problem horses. I would try that, but I work with 9 so I think I would mess up the numbers :p
