Backwards hello!

Okay, I guess I'm doing this a little out of order. I'd already posted several questions before I realized that I was supposed to introduce myself on here. So, I'm sorry if I repeat stuff that you already read in one of my questions .

I'd ridden horses some as a kid and an adult, but never thought I'd own one. My husband had never ridden horses until a little over a year ago. The first time he rode one he fell in love with riding and decided he had to have one of his own. He's become a horse nut and I love it! Kinda funny since he's always been the one grumbling at me for wanting tons of pets!

So a few months ago, he finally talked me into it (Okay, I'm an animal idiot, he didn't have to work too hard to convince me.). We now have two lovely girls - Honey who is 3 and Sweet-n-low who is 5 (many pics in my barn). Not completely sure of their heritage, but they are both gaited and great for trail riding - that's all we care about.

We live in rural SE KY and trail ride and camp with a group of our neighbors in the game reserve by our house. Since our horses are young and my husband and I are newbies, I'm on here for help with everything from general care to training. I have a lot of supportive, horse owning friends, but its nice to get other perspectives.

Thanks to everyone for all of the help so far!

Sarah
