    Greetings from the Bluegrass!

Hi. I've been lurking for a while, and decided to register.

I've been horse-crazy all my life and have spent most of my life trying to find ways to involve myself with horses. I've done a fair job of it, having taken many years' worth of lessons, gone to a community college aiming for an associate degree.

But nothing would give me the feeling that my own horse would! Now that I'm middle-aged, I finally have been able to have my own. She's a 14 yo half-Arabian and is truly the love of my life! Until I got her about three years ago, she'd spent her life doing English type things such as country English, show hack, sidesaddle, mounted native costume, and a bit of driving.

But I'm more into sport horse things like low level jumping and dressage type stuff. The trainer whose barn I found her in worked with her, and she's looking lovely as a hunter.

I've only gotten her to one show, but was well pleased with how she worked.

I'm looking forward to being a part of the horseforum community!
