Smile Greetings From Colorado!

Hello everyone, my name is Ali and I just joined this board this morning. I'm a 21 yr old equine science student at Colorado State, and I graduate this May! I'm hoping to find a job in the equine industry, an AI or stallion handler at a reproduction facility if I could have my dream position. I also promised myself that the day I got a job, I would go out and buy my first horse. I've been riding lesson horses since 9th grade, and I think it's FINALLY time to have one of my own!

Hello! I'm thinking about transferring to Co St after my current internship!

Welcome to the forum!

Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong. There are always difficulties arising which tempt you to believe that your critics are right. To map out a course of action and follow it to an end requires courage.

Haha no way! That's awesome! Where's your internship? CSU is GREAT for Equine Science, they have such a good program! And if repro is your thing, it's definitely the place to be. I have a class right now where we get hands on training at CSU's repro center with the client horses doing semen analysis, collection, freezing, insemination, and stallion handling. It's awesome!
