    Greetings from Kansas

Howdy all, I just signed up and thought I would say hi and introduce myself. I was born to a horse breeder and trader. I grew up eating, sleeping and breathing horses. We showed horses and I was required to compete in the show ring myself at a very young age. Done quite well but grew tired of all the dog eat dog and the rude and obnoxious people that come with showing horses. So at the ripe old age of about 16 I quit showing and started traveling the rodeo circut which was fun. But I finally grew up and settled down. Now have a wife who loves horses as much as I and we have 2 kids one rides some but for the most part it's just mom and I. We mostly like to just trail ride, gives us some down time to just relax and enjoy the out doors. We live on a working farm and raise cattle and hay. Last summer we took the horses and went to Custer State Park in South Dakota and rode. Had a great time there. We have been to Emmence Missouri more times that we can count and have all the buckles to prove it. I started working with leather around the age of 14 and have stuck with it most of my life. I now have a saddle and tack shop that I work part time at where I make most if not all my own gear. I make custom leather products of all kinds from belts, wallets, purses all the way up to custom made western saddles. If you like you can check out my web site at www.Cornelius-Saddlery.com not trying to push anyone to buy just look at what I do is all I am saying. We are planning on going back to SD this year. Anyway I have went on long enough just wanted to say hi. Still reading over the posts to see if I have anything to offer.

Hi from yet another Kansan! Always loved horses myself, but never had the chance to own one. Not yet anyway. Would you happen to know anyone that owns a horse ranch around Kansas or the surrounding states that hires for internships by chance?
