Greetings from Southwest Ohio

Hello Everyone!

I'm new to this forum. My name is Carmen and I'm from Southwest Ohio, looking to find anyone else from around here as well.

I used to ride from the ages of 10-16 and haven't since. I'm 22 now, and have no idea where to start again. I didn't leave my old barn on good terms, and don't know anyone in horse world to know where to start.

I've posted ads on Craigslist and responded to a few, but most of them are too far away from me. I can't afford to take lessons, but I would like to ride. I'm even willing to just do barn work (for pay or volunteer), and I have said that.

If anyone even has any general ideas on where to start, it would be much appreciated!

I'm also looking into different Equine Science programs at universities. It's scary how many they are in Ohio, when all I want is out of this state. I'm finding a lot in New England as well.

Anyways, I look forward to meeting some people and becoming a part of this forum.
