    HAVEN FOR HORSES project

HHAVEN FOR HORSES is a project to fund and establish a facility to accommodate and care for distressed horses.
There are few such establishments in the UK, but the number of neglected and ill treated horses is rising sharply, with many being slaughtered each year.

HAVEN FOR HORSES will be just what it says on the box! A non profit making organization that is a much needed faciltiy, to help alleviate the suffering of horses.
We need funding to help set up this facility, by purchasing a suitable farm/stable property in need of major renovation, and carrying out all the work on a voluntary basis until we can open up our HAVEN FOR HORSES to the public. The funding will also pay for all costs for first 12 months, and after that it is envisaged the Haven will become self supporting through the development of commercial activities such as livery facilities and/or riding lessons.

HAVEN FOR HORSES is seeking funding, and any donation, however small, will be most welcome. You can donate from the main website, HAVEN FOR HORSES, and use ANY credit or debit card and choose whatever amount you wish. Although a certain capital sum is already put aside for funding this project, we are still seeking sponsorship, donations, volunteers (at a later date when we secure the property).

Please note that HAVEN FOR HORSES is a non profit project, but we choose NOT to be a registered charity because of the costs of setting these up, and the admin required. As an independent project, 100 pence in every 1 donated goes to the funding of the project, whereas with standard charity or trusts, a lot of donated funds is used for admin costs and legal requirements of documenting charity organzation status. We believe that every penny of your donations should go to helping distressed horses, and NO WHERE ELSE!!!!!! We use PAYPAL as our payment processing system, but to still ensure that 100% of donations goes where it should go, all paypal transaction fees are paid from other sources, ensuring that really 100% of every 1 goes where it should.
