    Hello from CA

Hello. Hmmm I probably won't ever say much haha. I'm still learning. I ride mostly for pleasure. I rode off and on when I was younger. But really started riding and training about a year ago, when my mom's old mare was moved to retirement near me. I ride at a barn that works with rescues and does amazing work.

I recently adopted a Dutch warm blood that came to us as a surrender from an owner (call her A) who wasn't paying her bills. So my mare was stuck in a muddy pasture with little to no food. Luckily she wasn't the worse that I have seen. All it took was some food and she's back to good weight. She's an older mare and well schooled. Good for me since I'm still learning. I was recently contacted by the woman, J, who had given the mare to A. J was able to give me a lot of history on my mare.

Anyway, she's a wonderful horse and I just adore her. We might try some very, very light showing, since she has a lot of championships under her belt, but has some minor issues due to being heavily shown when she was younger.

    **goes back into hiding**

Thank you for the welcome :) (sorry about the hiding) It was a weird few days and I wasn't sure what Giselle's old owner wanted at first.

Anyway here's one of my moose and me.

I'll post more when I can find them. I have pictures some where of my mom's old paint mare and her Andalusian/Quarter gelding.
