Hello to all the guys and gals on the Horse Forum. I'll start off by saying that I grew up with horses. Dad always had at least one, sometimes up to 3 or 4. I'm the middle son of three boys, so he always had at least one of us that wasn't too sore to break one if he bought a new one...lol
That being said I'll add that it has now been 20 years since I've owned or ridden a horse. Back then I'd never heard the term "groundwork" or "lunging" My son recently talked me into getting back into riding, and I've been pleased with how well the past experience has come back to me. (And also the joy of riding).
Since I know that there is still things I don't know, or can't remember, forgive me in advance if I seem to ask you what many may feel is a "silly" question. Both of the horses we have are able to be ridden, but they both have some issues that I would like to work on, and I'd like to do it right.
