Hello from Germany

Hello :)

Well, I'm a 17-year (nearly 18 :P ) old girl from Germany.
I decided to register here because I think it's really interessting to read about riders and horses of other country especially because I want to go to America one day! =)

I ride since 8 years, but I grew up working with horses because my grandfather always had some. Horses belong to my life and always will.
I own a little Shetland-Pony
And I ride a Westphalian gelding (horse-sharing).

Generally, I ride Dressage, but I love show jumping, too. I'm a leisure-rider.

If there are any questions - ask! =)
And sorry for my english, I know it's not perfect, but I think and hope you can understand it! ^^

Welcome to the Forum! I learned to ride in Germany (dressage of course!). I loved it there, such a beautiful country!

Welcome, Libby.

Your English is fine for a non-native speaker. No problems at all understanding you.

Thanks for the welcomes!

I'm glad you understand my english

Here's a picture of my little pony:

His name's Caspar.
Someday I want him to be good riding pony for little kids and I want to drive him someday.
But until then it's going to be hard work... But I'm really proud of his changes: When I bought him in november last year, he was really wild, rears and wasn't easy to handle. But now, he is so well-behaved, he accepts weight on his back und learned so much! I really didn't expect this in such a short time! :)
