Hello and hoping to hear from long-distance trail riders

Evening (well, it is where I am, which is in the DRC) everybody

I am a long-time lurker on the forum and have finally got around to joining. My boyfriend and I have four horses - a sassy mutt pony, a boss mutt mare, a Percheron/Chilean cross gelding, and a Chilean/TB mare. Big question mark on the TB, though - there aren't any papers for that side and I'm not seeing it...

We're planning a ride through South America, starting in Chile in December of this year.

I've been devouring half the threads on the forum and now maybe I'm ready to ask some questions of my own.

Go easy on me

This is a dreadful photo of all of them, showing from L to R: boss mare, gelding, pony, Chilean mare... I'm sure I have better ones somewhere (photos, not horses)

Democratic Republic of the Congo. Not many horses here. Mostly goats.
