    Hello from Hotlanta!

Hey guys! My name is Kelsey from Atlanta, Georgia and I'm 23. I've ridden off and on since I was about 11 years old. I ride when I can afford it or have the opportunity, but up until recently, it wasn't very often. I learned the majority of my basics at horse camps that I attended every summer for years. College and work in recent years have become priority though.

I'm currently unemployed, but I'm a small animal veterinary assistant usually :) Love working with animals, and would love to get into large animals as well, but haven't yet had the chance. I currently have 3 dogs, 1 cat, and 2 Bearded Dragons. I'm going to school for Biology, but if I end up moving back to Charleston, SC I will be pursuing my dream and go into Marine Biology

Besides the obvious horseback riding, some of my other hobbies include painting/drawing and marine fish keeping (this includes keeping corals and other reef organisms!) As you can tell, I'm a huge science nerd haha.

Although I've never owned my own horse, I look forward to soaking up all the information and advice you all have to offer. I WILL own a horse one day, it's just not in the cards right now. Recently got back in with riding when my friend just bought a 9 year old Egyptian Arabian named Ihmotep or "Mo" for short!

    This is Mo

Welcome to the forum! Are you a Never-ending Story fan? Two thumbs up on marine biology - that's awesome!

Never-ending Story is awesome, but it's also a band!
I'm really excited for Marine Bio, second only to horses, in my book!

Ah ha. I think I knew that it was a band too. Well welcome! =)

I'm from Georgia too! South Georgia, mind you. A whole different world than Atlanta! I'm a reefer too. I love aquariums... I've had a little experience with pretty much everything marine, and a bit of fresh water too!

I'd rather live in South Georgia haha. I'm not too fond of the hustle and bustle and traffic all the time. Not my cup of tea.
I'm glad there is someone else out there to share my fishy nerdiness hahaha. I only had my SW tank for a year and a half before I sprung a leak and flooded the house, but I am absolutely fascinated with it. I've always had a FW tank though!
