    Hello From Iowa

    Well, "Hello!"

My name is Julia and I live in Iowa, as my title suggests, lol.

I will be turning 16 next month. I am a member of my local FFA Chapter and I show horses.

I have six miniature horses. (Seven on my property but one is actually a friend's that I'm selling her.) I have two mares, two geldings, one yearling filly, and a 2011 filly. Out of our herd we have three dwarf miniature horses. You can read more about my horses in my profile.

In the past year I've been working on bettering my herd. I've gelded two colts, we sold our stallion, and changed feeds. I've also been working on manners with my herd. Previously, my horses were skinny, skinny, and now they're plump! (They had ribs and hips apparent. Now they don't!)

I am a member of multiple horse sites under this name.

Um, non-horsey stuff about me. I don't like posting in the Teen sections of forums. I may be a teen, but I don't like talking about boys and clothes. I can do that with my friends. I go on forums to talk about horses.

I am a fan of 80s music. (Queen all the way!)

I have a worm farm. My FFA Leader/Ag Teacher introduced me to worms this past year. I have two different worm farms; both with red worms. I am hoping to go to community college for Agricultural Business, while staying home. This means I can still meet all of my goals with my horses, stay home, have a job, and go to school.

    Well, that's me.

Haha...you mentioned worm farm and a worm farm banner popped up - there is a banner for everything I think.

Glad to see you branching out into other forums - you can learn a little from each one...

ROFL! That's awesome, lol. All I got was an ad for the casino in my town. Lame.

I'm hoping I can learn a little something from here. I've learned stuff from each of the forums I frequent!
