Smile Hello from Kansas!!!

Hello my name is Hilary and im from kansas! i have owned horses all my life and i really want to get into working with horses as a profession, but there isn't really a high demand for it around my area cuz this economy sucks! lol. But im looking more towards the rescue side bc no animal deserves to suffer and i just love these animals to death. I am enrolling in the vet tech program in kansas city (even tho they dont make all that much money).

Any ideas or suggestions would be great!!! cant wait to talk to yall!

Welcome to the forum! Nice to meet you :)

Don't let the fact that some profession doesn't make a ton of money discourage you from entering into it. I'm a firm believer in the as long as you are happy type thing, who cares how much money you make! Just as long as you can support yourself.

Have fun posting.

Welcome from another Kansas gal
You might start a thread asking about becoming a vet tech. We have a couple of members who are techs.

Welcome to the forum Hilary and have fun posting. :)

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/
