Hey everyone! My name's Liz and I'm new to this forum and to horses. Well, I'm not entirely new to horses. I've been riding bareback on my cousin's horse since I was seven of eight. I've ridden saddle once, and I was taught the basics (stopping, turning, and how to get the horse to go faster/slower), but that was about 4-5 years ago and I don't remember a thing. :P

I don't own a horse yet, but I plan to acquire one next summer, possibly. I'm working on getting some hands on experience, but my Dad won't let me until all my grades are A's and B's. There's a barn close by that offers riding lessons, and shows you how to care for horses etc., which is perfect for me. :]

I joined the forum to expand my very limited knowledge on horses, so hopefully it'll work. I love looking at the horse pictures. I could sit here for hours, hehe. Well, thanks for reading my very boring life story, practically!

Hello Liz!! Have fun posting and reading all about horses!! Horses, in my opinion any way ;) are very not boring! So you will have so much fun when you get a horse! Good Luck! :)
