    Hello from Kentucky!!

My name is Becky and I am new to this forum,so I hope to learn from it. I live in Owensboro,Ky and have loved horses for most of my life. I own a 7 year old TW gelding now, previously had an OTTB gelding. Sundance lives at my daughter and son-in-law's in Butler County,Ky with their horses. I love to trail ride, and am looking forward to going back to Wranglers at Land between the Lakes at the end of July. I have 4 grandkids-3 girls and a boy. The oldest granddaughter is my riding buddy(we rode last weekend when I was down there)-she rides western and English or bareback!! She is a senior in high scholl this fall and wants to attend Murray State for equine science. The next granddaughter is in 7th grade, likes to ride somewhat, would rather ride 4 wheeler than 4 legs. My grandson turned 6 and likes to ride both 4 legs and wheelers. He is in first grade and played soccer. The baby will be 2 and she hasn't warmed up to horses yet.

I have been to Mammoth Cave once before,at that time I was between horses, did ride a little but not as much as I wanted. We are also going to check out place-Bryan Lake, closer to us so we can go on weekend if we want. I love Wranglers, heard that Pennyrile is nice.

Hey Becky61...I wonder if we have some friends in common. I've got a friend that lives in Muhlenburg county that has been trying to get us to come up to Bryan lake and ride. I also bought my RV from a guy that lives close to Diamond lake..his name was Hugh but I don't remember his last name.

    Welcome !

I know your town well as I just finished designing the new Hampton Inn and Suites down by the waterfront . It turned out well. I went to EKU and still have family in Lexington.
    Owensboro is a great city.
