    Smile hello from maine

HI there I am a new member looking around and thought i'd say hello. I live in freezing cold maine, we have a lot of snow now. I am married with a 2 year old son, we have two cats and a lab cross puppy. My "first" horse is coming to live with me in april, she's a tb cross. She is 16 years old, chestnut, about 15.3 hands, we plan on doing alot of trailriding and maybe some small shows. I can't post pics so please don't ask, I can send them in a email but that's about it. Lol

Welcome fellow Mainer! Don't you just love all this wonderful cold and snow (hint of sarcasm). I know you'll enjoy the hf, I certainly am. Look forward to your posts.

    Hey! Welcome to HorseForum.

I don't live in Maine anymore but I grew up in the Portland area. I moved away when I was 12. I miss it there and hope to move back someday, even with all the snow .

Good luck with your first horse. I think that you will find that you can get a lot of helpful information on here to get you through the tough spots of owning your first horse.

    Again, Welcome!
