    Hello from Missouri.

I own two horses, Kola, a Paint and Bonanza, a Quarter Horse. Both of the geldings are in mid teens now, and I have had them over 10 years.

I grew up around Saddlebreds, my father was a trainer and I have also worked Quarter Horses, Thoroughbreds and was a Master Show Horse Groom for Saddlebreds for many years.

I also have birds, cats and dogs, and am constantly rescuing animals, and have also had possums, songbirds and turtles, and raccoons.

I read a lot, and like crafts and cooking. I collect antique cookbooks, and odds and ends of nifty things, and love junk stores.

Hello! And welcome to the forum. That's great that you have rescued so many animals. - and, yes, junk stores can be 'dangerous.' ;)

How neat that you master groomed! I'm always playing around with braids on my horses. They look over there shoulders with annoyance. Really, lady...again?

Welcome to the site! I think its great that you rescue animals, I feel I rescued my horse from a terrible boy that didnt feed him enough and rode him to hard... plus I just adopted a puppy from a local rescue center and I wish I had more room to save them all....
